Steppe Metal Powder (SMP), the Mongolia’s first metal powder plant, has been accepted as an associate member of the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) on 9 January 2023. The membership request was reviewed and approved by the EPMA’s Board and Council.

SMP’s this recent membership entails wider collaboration opportunities between SMP and customers, suppliers and research institutes not only in Europe, but also worldwide. Also, through SMP, Mongolian researchers, entrepreneurs and interested parties shall have more access to European industry stakeholders.
