Mongolia’s first metal powder plant Steppe Metal Powder (SMP), which produces premium-grade copper and copper alloy powder, started the process of introducing MNS ISO 9001:2016 Quality Management and ISO/TS 16949 Automotive Quality Management standards on 11 November 2022.

For this purpose, SMP engaged a professional consultancy firm IMS Consulting Experts LLC, and aims to obtain accreditation for its production and other operating aspects of the business in near future.
