Laboratory Structure and Organization

Our laboratory is certified to ISO/IEC 17025 standards, equipped with world-class instruments, implementing quality control at all stages from raw materials to finished products, conducting tests according to standard procedures, and working to prevent quality defects.

Capable of performing physical and chemical analysis and tests on raw materials, intermediate and final products of the copper powder factory, as well as all types of metal powders, operating within the scope of accreditation.

Services

Testing Scope

The Quality Control Laboratory of "Steppe Metal Powder" LLC was accredited for a period of two years in accordance with the defined scope of accreditation, pursuant to Order No. A/274 of the Director of the Mongolian National Accreditation Center (MNAS) dated September 26, 2024.

Operating in strict compliance with its accredited scope, the laboratory has the full capacity to perform physical and chemical analyses and testing on raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods of the powder metallurgy plant, as well as all types of metal powders.

Raw Material Analysis

Upon receiving copper and copper alloy raw materials, chemical composition, purity, and impurity content are analyzed and verified using ICP-OES and ELMENTRAC instruments.

Intermediate Product Control

During atomization chamber, drying, and sieving operations, intermediate samples are regularly collected to measure and record particle composition, density, and flow rate.

Final Product Certification

Each Cu001–Cu005 grade product is analyzed according to GB/T 41882-2022 and ISO standards, certified, and exported.

External Client Analysis

We can analyze metal powder samples from other organizations and factories in the powder metallurgy industry within the scope of accreditation and issue certified reports.

Management System

Steppe Metal Powder LLC has fully implemented a company-wide Quality Management System in strict compliance with the MNS ISO 9001:2015 standard. Operating seamlessly within this overarching framework, the company's Quality Control Laboratory has additionally established and executed an independent testing laboratory management system that satisfies all requirements of the MNS ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard.

2021

Quality control laboratory established as a company unit. Advanced equipment manufactured in the USA and Germany was installed.

2022–2023

Integrated with corporate QMS under ISO 9001:2015 standard, fully strengthening internal analytical capabilities.

September 2024

Accredited to MNS ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard for two years by Decree A/274 of the Director of the National Accreditation Center.

Future

In the future, our laboratory plans to not only conduct analysis but also develop technology for manufacturing initial product prototypes.
