What is Copper Powder?
Water-atomized copper powder is a fine metal powder produced by disintegrating molten copper into ultra-fine particles using high-pressure water jets. This specific manufacturing technology yields particles with irregular surface morphologies and high compressibility (excellent bonding capability), making it widely utilized in powder metallurgy, metal injection molding (MIM), and chemical processing. Furthermore, while maintaining copper's inherently high electrical and thermal conductivity, this powder exhibits exceptional suitability for pressing and molding into diverse component shapes.

Pricing Principles

Our product prices are directly linked to AIC company's global market price (LME).
Base Metal Price (LME): The basis for pricing depends on the average metal price of the month before shipment. We officially use the London Metal Exchange monthly average copper price for this calculation.
Conversion Cost: This is a fixed amount added to the LME base price to cover our production process and profits. For our water-atomized copper powder, this conversion cost is close to the international market average per kilogram, depending on the ordered product code.
Shipping Cost: Our basic delivery term is FCA Ulaanbaatar. However, if the buyer wants delivery to a specified port, the transportation cost from the factory to the customer will be added to the total sales price.
